JAMIE MORRIS

Jamie Morris embodies the heart and spirit of Michigan football. As an All-American running back for the University of Michigan, he left an indelible mark on the Wolverines’ legacy. Under the guidance of legendary coach Bo Schembechler, Morris led the team in rushing for all four years, breaking records and expectations alike.

Morris’ college career was nothing short of spectacular. He set the school’s record for all-time rushing yards in a season with 1,703 yards and graduated with a career total of 4,392 yards. His prowess continued in the NFL with the Washington Redskins, where he set a record for the most carries in a game with 45 rush attempts against the Bengals, a record that still stands.

Beyond the field, Morris remains a pillar of the Michigan community. In addition to hosting “The M-Zone” on The Big 1050 WTKA, he is a driving force behind Stadium & Main, an independent organization that supports athletes in the new era of NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) rights. Jamie’s devotion to Michigan and his family, including his wife Becky and their children Kendall and CJ, highlights his steadfast commitment to excellence in all aspects of life.

A graduate of the University of Michigan with a degree in Sports Management, Matt has worked with the University of Michigan Athletic Department, the Detroit Tigers, and the New York Mets. He is also a third-generation Wolverine.

As co-host of “The M Zone,” Matt continues his family’s long-standing legacy with Michigan Athletics. His father, Rick Leach, was an All-American quarterback and baseball player, and his grandfather, Dick Leach, was the catcher on Michigan’s first National Championship baseball team in 1953.
